Margo West hardly has enough magic to fill a dustpan. So, when her gran passes away, leaving her temperamental broomstick to her most incompetent granddaughter, Margo takes off. After landing in a strange little town of Shifters in West Virginia, she decides to try her hand at real estate. Mild hearth magic might not have impressed the wicked West fam, but it does wonders for open houses. Her “parlor tricks” include shining windows, mopping floors, and vanishing dust with a twitchy blink of her eyes. Hey, wiggling your nose is hard!

Margo’s new life seems to be going well, until broody hunk Dylan Hernández solicits her to sell his childhood home before the bank forecloses on it. The creepy manor is plagued by ghosts, bats, and a greedy developer. It’s going to take a lot more than parlor tricks and mascara to get this job done, but with her reputation, commission, and a tentative romance on the line, Margo’s not about to throw in the broom just yet.

Things have been less than ideal for Margo West since she tried to break the Hernández family curse via a naughty backyard ritual. She hasn't sold a house in seven months, and Mama Gretta's addictive cookie recipe is putting a serious cramp in her style. The trapped spirits of Dylan Hernández's bat Shifter papas seem to have moved on at least, but a surge of ghost sightings around town have everyone in Assjacket, WV, wondering if Margo's half-baked magic misfired and left them to pay the price.

As if she didn't have enough in her cauldron, Glinda, Margo's wicked cousin, drops in for visit intent on stealing the legendary broom Margo inherited from Granny West.

Margo West is finally marrying the batty beau of her dreams. After breaking a century-old family curse, laying ghosts to rest, discovering her power over the sky cauldron, and defeating a dirty dog Shifter, a wedding sounds like a piece of cake. Until their mothers arrive.

Nessa West is not thrilled about her daughter's plans to marry a fruit bat Shifter. Not when there are so many eligible warlocks waiting back in Kansas. The arrival of Dylan's mother is no walk through the poppies either. Hermosa Hernández lost her husband and eldest son to a witch's curse, and she's convinced that Margo is much too wicked for her precious cachorro.

With their mothers stirring the cauldron at every turn, Margo and Dylan find themselves at odds and wondering if their love will survive the weekend. Some things just can't be fixed with one of Mama Ellie's sexy backyard rituals, but if they can't get their mothers under control, Margo fears her and Dylan's nights of making magic under the pawpaw trees will soon be over.

Rain, rain, go away. A little batling wants to play...

Newlyweds Margo and Dylan are ready for the next stops on the yellow brick road of life: flipping a foreclosure and having a baby. But after six months of trying, Margo's cave is still batless. To make matters worse, their fixer-upper is bleeding their bank account dry.

Margo grudgingly agrees to Dylan's suggestion that they rent out the house until they're able to sell it. But when their tenants turn out to be a gorgeous fruit bat Shifter that Dylan's late brother Drew dated while in Australia and their resulting love child, Margo feels as if her thunder has been stolen—literally.

As Dylan spends more and more time with the boy and his single mother, the mounting stress causes Margo to lose control of her sky cauldron powers, and soon Assjacket's sunny summer weather is overtaken by horrific storms.

There's a bitty bat in the cauldron!

With Margo's due date quickly approaching, everyone is excited (and nervous) to learn which family the baby will favor. Will she be a fruit bat Shifter Hernández like her father? Or a hopefully-not-too-wicked West witch, like her mother? And will the nursery remodel be done in time before the bitty bat or wittle witch arrives?

Of course, these aren't the only questions keeping Margo up at night and sending her newly acquired storm powers into overdrive, unintentionally terrorizing the shifty citizens of Assjacket. Margo's cousin Glinda has asked for a plus-one to the baby shower—her bully of an older sister. Emmy is back from Europe, and Glinda claims she's outgrown the pimple-hexing antics of their youth.

Margo's not convinced. West witches are wildcards, and the Shifter Whisperer has already banished one from town. But refusing Glinda's request could mean damaging her relationship with the one West witch still in her life. What's a witch to do?
